I had the pleasure of spending some time in the prayer room. I've
been so busy. I need to make it a priority to spend time alone with
God. I cannot give to my kids what I don't have. If I want them to
have spiritual depth, I have to have it first.

Night of Dancing
In a doll land they met and journeyed to sunset sunrise. They shared hands and ate watermelon candies. The thorns were nearby but with caution they made it over the concrete bridges into new wonders. They talked of their old traditions and hurts. New planets they flew up to meet. Dark tunnels just made them dream. Perhaps it all was true and their questions had always been answers.
Welcome Zoe
We had Zoe on 7/21. She's beautiful. I'm now 33 years old. She's our third child. She has three letters in her name. 7 times 3 is 21.
I'm nervous but excited about teaching art and b&w/digital photography at the high school next year. I'm cramming to get the darkroom techniques down. I'm enjoying learning Photoshop and other media software. This will be an exciting year.
I'm still listening to the Prayer room Webstream when I have the chance. Misty Edwards was encouraging the people in song this morning..."He will be faithful to complete the work he began in you." I needed to hear that.
For those of you in the midst of mortgages and raising kids, I know it's difficult to keep the fire burning bright in our time with God, but he is not dissappointed. Quite the opposite is true. Let's keep going and see the progress and fruit of our labor. Nothing is impossible with God. He is our anchor in the storm. Or our eye in the hurricane.
