Three Jesus Resources
Of course, IHOP-KC is a great resource especially with their services live online. They began 24/7 prayer in 1999 and are still going. Watch the live prayer room here.
Mike Bickle, the director of the International House of Prayer has his teachings available with free .pdf notes, mp3 downloads, video streaming at www.mikebickle.org . It's really cool to download an mp3, print out the notes and listen on your iTouch at your leisure. The IHOP prophetic history is amazing. I cannot underestimate how life changing it is to hear of the supernatural occurrences that have occurred as God proclaims that 24/7 worship is on his heart.
The Wilderness Outcry event in Missourri is a much needed event for the body of Christ. We need to unplug and get away into the wilderness to seek his voice. We will not have all the busy noise and also will remember that God takes care of us, not our government, cell phones, jobs, sewer systems, electrical grids, etc. He takes care of us like he took care of the Israelites in the desert.

Do You Even Care
Today I read about Cornelius in the book of Acts chapter 10. Peter was preaching:
42He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. 43All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." 44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.
So this family of Cornelius is gathered around expectant and listening eagerly. When Peter tells them about forgiveness of sins, BAM!, they get hit by the Holy Spirit.
What amazes me is that they cared about the forgiveness of sins in that generation. They weren't even Jews. My mind flashed back to scenes of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Days of Noah...to times when society stopped caring, and I think of our time today. Who really cares about the forgiveness of sins? Do you hear it a concern on TV, at school, around you, in your mind, on the lips of your family. I think of Lot and how his family was being swept away by Sodom's culture. His own wife didn't want to leave as it was being destroyed.
Check yourself before you wreck yourself! Let them with ears hear. The others scoff on.

You, Oh Artist, See and Live
I had a dream this morning about an amazing artist. He made jewelry working in metals. He was so gifted. At first I didn't like him because of some goofy reasons...I didn't even know him. Once I saw his work I was amazed. As I tried to prophecy and encourage him as to what his future had in store. (I wanted him to know that his destiny was so beautiful.) As I tried to tell him, he entered his workplace, and became the door greeter. It was a place like Best Buy. I shouted across the aisle but some floor person manager overheard what I was saying and seemed to purposely tell me to get quiet and leave. The manager did not want his timid employee (the amazing artist) to get a vision or motivation to do great things. In fact the manager type person somewhat delighted in knowing he had power over this person and didn't want to lose it. Fear, insecurity, and lack of vision was holding the artist back. I awoke from the dream indignant.
That artist needs to know how beautiful his art is and know how talented he is. He needs to stop letting the managers of life intimidate him. He is a visionary creating beauty from heaven. Something the manager can't comprehend.
This is for you, for me, for the artists that God is calling out.
