Big Brother's Strategy

Today Democrats have proposed the National Biometric ID card to solve the immigration problem.  EEeeek!!

Listen, this is important.  Don't be fooled, look for yourselves, both Republicans and Democrats are enacting legislation to give the Federal Government more power and control over your life.  The Republicans did it through the Patriot Act and the creation of the Department of Homeland Security.  The Democrats have done it with the Health Care Reform...if we don't stand up, it will now continue with the Immigration Reform.  They are planning on giving police the right to ask American Citizens for their papers, now they want a Federal ID card, a biometric one to keep tabs on us.

Here is their formula for taking over our rights, 1)scare you with the flu, the economy, health care, terrorists, global warming   2)Step in to help if only they can have more control over your life, money, privacy 3) We complacently accept the help and sometimes even applaud it while we just lost more of our freedom.

See through the sham.  Keep your rights.

My Art Website is Up and Running

I got my website up and running at www.prophetsflow.com, I have yet to upload more paintings but I have a few on there.  It's a great feeling to finally have a site with my own domain name.  Stop by and leave a message.  I'm using iWeb to create it now but am learning Adobe Dreamweaver from the Adobe TV website, so I hope to make the website more interactive and artistic in the future.

Art League meeting set
    The Freestone County Art League will host its regular meeting, 10 a.m. — 12 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in the Fellowship Hall building of the Teague Church of Christ, located at 1001 N. 8th Ave., in Teague. The program will feature demonstrations on creating mass with light and color to improve paintings, presented by Mexia High School art teacher Enrique Crosby.
    Crosby, originally from Los Angeles, grew up in San Marcos and earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from Texas State University. Crosby’s program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
