Christian Youth Arts Coffeehouse and Lou Engle at Onething Conference

We are in the process of establishing 24/7 creative worship in Mexia, TX. We have a downtown historic building that has been filled with student artwork. On Saturday nights 7-11ish, we open for creative worship including drawing, journaling, prophetic prayer and worship. Most of the musicians and singers are high school students. It is awesome to see and hear praise arise as incense up to the father's throne. He is worthy. To learn more about the coffeehouse visit us on our Facebook page. We are in need of donations to pay for the utilities of the building. To donate, send checks to Mexia First Assembly of God at 1100 N. Ross St. Mexia, TX 76667 and designate the check to "Youth Coffeehouse".

On January 1st 2012, we returned home from the Onething Conference in Kansas City, MO. It was put on by the International House of Prayer. The Lou Engle's message on Saturday evening was so intense that the gravity of it made want to weep as the new year approached. I'm reading his book A Moment to Confront. The prophetic significance of this book is profound. He is calling Nazarite believers to fast for 390 days to represent the 390 years since the pilgrims first Thanksgiving. He is drawing parallels between this 390 day fast and Ezekiel's 390 day fast that represented the 390 years of Israel's sin. To watch the archives of the Onething Conference, click here.
